BIO

Koko Che Jota is the name given to the multidisciplinary artistic project developed by Carolina Häfner that began in early 2014.

Carolina, the daughter of architects and born in Granada in 1990, moved to Berlin at the age of 2. She grew up surrounded by plans, construction projects, materials, and hearing about the coherence between elements, something that defines her work. She studied architecture at the renowned UDK in Berlin.

She uses different media to develop her work, covering very different areas, such as painting, design, ceramics, and textile embroidery.

"Leily Taz Evans," "Under the Sky," "The Worms of Lapse," and "The Object Lab" are some of her latest works. In her latest series, "The Object Lab," the artist creates a dialogue between the universe she imagines and the one we inhabit, materializing the objects captured in her designs and bringing them from canvas to real life.

He has exhibited in galleries and fairs such as Hybrid Art Fair, Berlin Graphic Days, and Cultura3Club. He has created illustrations for events such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (Madrid), developing the prints for the brand La Aguja en el Dedo (The Needle on the Finger) for the Prêt-à-porter collection. He has also worked with award-winning studios such as Yonoh Studio, collaborating on the publication that won the Gold Award at the 2022 ACDV.

In the field of interior design, he has completed several freelance projects, although he has also worked with well-known firms such as Estudio Pinasetti and Lugadero. Even hotels such as Casa del Sol (Barcelona) have used his designs for their interiors.
